Kyffin is a senior lecturer in special and inclusive education at the University of Northampton, with previous experience of teaching within mainstream and special schools in a variety of countries. Although born in Wales and brought up in London, for the best part of his life Leicester has been his home! Kyffin has been aware of Trade's work for many years before he joined the Board of trustees and is now proud to be part of a local organisation that is both visionary and human.
Moonlighting as Trade's company secretary since 2012, Paul enjoys the challenges that organising the Board presents. By day he works part time with Trade, runs his own video and photography company, and enjoys playing in rock bands.
Gerard's knowledge of, and respect for, Trade's important role supporting LGB&T people in Leicester, Leicestershire & Rutland has its roots back in the days of working on the helpline at the Leicester LGBT Centre. He began supporting Trade as an admin volunteer at the beginning of 2016 and as that year closed became a Trustee. Working for many years in special education he now works part time as a freelance consultant specialising in the management and development of training in the deafblind field. In his leisure time, you will find him on his yoga mat!
Ken is an independent healthcare consultant who has volunteered with Trade for a couple of years before he joined the Board of Trustees. He is looking forward to being part of a great local charity which provides such valuable resources to the LGB&T community in Leicester, Leicestershire & Rutland.
